Using Your Pendulum

The term "chakra" originates from the Sanskrit word for "wheel" and refers to the interconnected energy centers located along the astral spine. There are seven primary chakras, and they serve as vital points for the distribution of life force energy throughout the body from six distinct locations along the astral spine. Each chakra is intricately linked to specific attributes of consciousness, elements, planets, astrological signs, sounds, and spiritual qualities, forming a complex and comprehensive system of energy and spiritual understanding.

Start using your Pendulum

Start by holding the chain of the pendulum between your thumb and forefinger. Feel its weight and balance. If the chain is too long, you can wrap it around your index finger for comfort and control.

Hold the pendulum steady in one hand and let your other hand slide down the chain. Make sure the bottom tip of the pendulum rests in your open palm, ready to move. Take a moment to relax, breathe deeply, and release any tension in your body. As you watch the pendulum move, stay relaxed and let its rhythm guide you on your journey of discovery.

Program your Pendulum’s Source.

To program a pendulum, start by setting up its movements for "yes," "no," and "maybe." You can do this by asking simple questions that have clear answers. Hold the pendulum with your dominant hand and connect with it. Then, ask it to show you a specific answer, like "Show me 'yes'."

A common way to program it is to move the pendulum front-to-back for "yes" and side-to-side for "no." Alternatively, you can use a clockwise circle for "yes" and a counter-clockwise circle for "no." After you have set the movements, confirm that the programming works by asking more questions with known answers.

Pendulum Precautions

It's important to remember that the pendulum is an extension of your own intuition; it doesn't reveal anything you don't already know. Your pendulum works because it resonates with your energy. For this reason, it's advisable not to let anyone else handle your pendulum. If someone does use it, take some time to reconnect with it and re-establish its Yes/No responses.

Clearing the Pendulum

Clear your pendulum after each question by touching its weight-stone to the palm of your free hand or another surface. This signals that your question has been answered and that you are ready to move on to the next one.

Storing your Pendulum

Keep your pendulum safe when you’re not using it. A good way to do this is by wearing it on a neck chain. This way, it will absorb your energy all day and stay in tune with your body's energy and vibrations. Alternatively, you can store it in a pouch or a keepsake box.

Helpful Tips

  1. Relax, enjoy the connection.
  2. Be open, neutral, and definitely do not try to predict answers.
  3. Be clear in the way you phrase your questions.
  4. Be patient, be present.
  5. To receive a stronger response, say “respond louder, please” or “be clearer.”
  6. Cup your other hand underneath the point or weight stone to help focus energy.

What if my pendulum doesn't work?

Sometimes your pendulum might not work quite right or may give you answers that seem off. This can happen for a variety of reasons, and that's totally okay!

  1. You might have misunderstood the movements of your pendulum for "yes" and "no."
  2.  If you are tired, upset, emotional, or feeling unwell, it may not work properly.
  3.  If you're feeling stressed or negative, it could affect the results.
  4. Being too close to electrical equipment or devices with high frequencies could also affect your pendulum's accuracy.
  5. Your questions may not have been asked in the right way – they need to be simple and specific.
  6. Sometimes, you might need to wait for the answer to come through.
  7.  It's possible that a different pendulum may be a better match for your energy.

Stay calm and keep practicing. Keep an open mind too. With time and patience, you will improve your pendulum skills and see better results.
